Arbor Vetum teak products are supplied as standard in our natural finish. This is most commonly recommended for outdoor use because it allows the timbers to mellow gently with age and become the classic silvery grey colour much admired in gardens.

Furniture supplied in Natural finish requires no maintenance other than a periodic scrub with natural soap, warm water and a soft scrubbing brush to remove any natural build up. Once silvery grey, which is the natural process of oxidisation on the exposed timber, the teak colour can always be restored by carefully sanding back the surface.

For an additional charge Arbor Vetum can also hand finish any design in Danish Oil to enhance the colour and grain in the timber.

Our Danish Oil finish will require regular maintenance throughout the year. However this is a simple and very easy process which can be likened to cleaning and polishing a car - a little oil and elbow grease, applied regularly will keep your furniture looking beautiful.
